About Me
I'm a VP of Engineering with deep experience building and modernizing real-time marketplace and lead-generation platforms on AWS. I turn archaic systems and ad hoc processes into modern, reliable, continuously delivered software.
My background spans backend, infrastructure, and real-time systems: event-driven architectures, high-throughput APIs, CI/CD and zero-downtime deploys, and the developer tooling and shared platforms (a versioned component library and design system) that let product teams ship fast and consistently.
I was also part of the team that built and sold Redeeem, a cryptocurrency platform with peer-to-peer trading and an NFT marketplace, acquired by Troika Media Group (NASDAQ). That acquisition is how I made my way to Converge.
I lead engineering as a business function, aligning technical strategy with revenue, and I care about clarity, reliability, and bringing teams and codebases up to a modern standard. These are skills I bring to any engineering organization.

Real-Time Marketplace Platform Modernization
Inherited an archaic platform and rebuilt it on CI/CD, automated testing, GitHub Flow, security, and blue/green zero-downtime deploys; migrated legacy Java services to Spring Boot and ran them on AWS ECS.
Shared Component Library & Design System
Built a versioned UI component library, published to a private NPM registry and consumed across a multi-domain Next.js landing-page ecosystem, with Storybook for preview and testing.

Two-Sided Marketplace Platform
Built a two-sided marketplace from the ground up with a REST API powering iOS and Android apps; the platform enabled over a million hours of service delivered.
